About the Program
PIEF Flea Market is where international exchange takes place through selling and buying homemade food, handmade goods, personal artwork, and used goods provided by Pyeongtaek residents. Also, local artists may come out and perform and sell their work (e.g., music, art, etc.).

Program Information
  • When : March – October (8 times a year)
  • What : Time and date will be announced on our homepage and Facebook page at the beginning of the month
  • Where : Along the old train tracks located at the end of downtown all the way to the Songtan International Community Center
  • - Vendors : may apply as an individual or team and sell homemade food, handmade goods, personal artwork, and/or used goods - Performers : may apply as an individual or team and perform various street performances - Financial and Cultural Volunteer Groups : overall-flea market review and documentations

Participation Benefits
Awards given by PIEF Chairman
- Vendors: Excellent Artisan Award given to those that participate 6+ times
- Performers: Best Artist Award given to those that participate 6+ times
- Volunteers: Excellent Service Award given to those who participate 6+ times Community Service Certificate given Community service hours earned : those who have a 1365 Volunteer Portal account will be given the appreciate amount of accredited hours for their service
How to Apply
  • When :
    • 3 weeks – 3 days before the flea market
  • Who :
    • - Vendors : individuals and/or teams that sell personal goods (e.g., food, goods, artwork, etc.) and used products (not store bought)
    • - Performers : performances by individuals and/or teams that all ages can enjoy (e.g., not violent, not provocative, no cursing, etc.)
    • - Volunteers : anybody
  • How :
    • - Vendors : Application Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form for Minors, wire entry fees (account number TBA)
    • - Entry Fees :15,000 KRW for either a tent booth
      (1 tent, 1 table, and 2 chairs provided) or car booth
      ※ MUST return after usage
    • - Performers : Application Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form for Minors - Financial and Cultural Volunteer Groups : Apply after making a 1365 Volunteer Portal account - Fill out the appropriate application forms (download) and turn them in via email to pief.fleamarket@gmail.com
